TYPHOON

A typhoon is a mature tropical cyclone that develops inside the western a part of the North Pacific cycles Ocean between 180° and 100°E. This kind of region is known as the northwest Pacific container.  For organisational purposes, the northern Gulf of mexico is divided into three areas: the far eastern (North America to140°W), central (140°W to 180°), and western (180° to 100°E). The Regional Specialized Meteorological Center (RSMC) for exotic cyclone forecasts is in Japan, with other tropical cyclone caution centers intended for the southwest Pacific in Honolulu (the Joint Typhoon Alert Center), the Philippines and Hong Kong. It also seems to have written for the Chinese word 大風 dàfēng meaning " superb wind" while spoken in southern Chinese language dialects this sort of as Hakka and Cantonese. The modern way of writing typhoon in Chinese (simplified Chinese:  台风;  traditional Chinese:  颱風;  pinyin:  táifēng), and in Japanese (台風, pronounced taifū), uses a several first personality, however , and may have come about based on the re-importing from the word coming from English. (Another theory is usually that the initial tai syllable from the word was obviously a reference to Taiwan, where, from the point of view of landmass China, the winds originated from. ) Another possible etymology of typhoon is by the Greek word τύφειν (týphein), that means " to smoke" (see also Typhon), to explain the cyclonic storms of the Indian...
